How you see yourself is not be how others see you. Here’s a project: Pinterest and Google search images of curvy, big, plus-size women and you’ll see how beautiful and sexy they are. Well, that’s us! Really, that’s how we look to everyone. I did this last year and it gave me confidence to feel good about myself as I am. I thought “these women are size 18, 22 or whatever and they look great!” I started to carry myself differently and felt happier inside. People noticed and even the gorgeous size 8 girls, who I once aspired to be and though had it all, would say “wow, I wish I was as confident as you!” What!? They wanted to be like me? After I’d heard that a few times from different people I knew I really had changed and was projecting a positive image and energy. There are so many shops with really fun plus-size outfits for us and we can look amazing every day not just on special occasions.
