@21-I agree completely on bathing suits. I’m a young 30-something, but pretty much all along I’ve never felt comfortable in a two piece. Yet, I still want to look “cute” and stylish. I hate how so many one pieces this year came with…the dreaded ruffle skirt (gasp!). Seriously, I’m not 80! I don’t even think 80 year olds wear them anymore! So I don’t know why so many retailers keep making them. They really don’t flatter me, at all. Then many of the normal one pieces I found had wretched prints or were solid colors (Bor-ring!) Or were designer and WAAAAAY out of my price range (like the gorgeous Oscar De La Renta I saw on the Today Show, which I later found out after calling about it was $575!!! Yikes!)
Anyway, after much, much, MUCH tedious research, my I ended up having satisfactory luck at JCPenneys, and Dillards (a chain out of Florida. ordered online). They were the most reasonable, cute suits with adequate coverage and available sizes. I ordered a bunch over the summer, because I hadn’t bought any in years so I kinda went on a binge. I had 2 vacations this summer, so I knew they would be put to good use. Previously, I had bought a lovely suit at Target, but they are hit or miss and this season for me was a miss. Last suggestion is Marshalls, again depends on selection, but I’ve found many of last seasons Macys castoffs there, most for around $25.00!! Score!
