What's in Store: Fall fashion looks and sounds good
Fall fashion never looked or sounded so good.
Three of Rochester's music divas — LaSonya Fleming, Annie Mack and Dianna Parks — will inspire not only the sound of the 2012 Downtown Fall Fashion Show, " STYLE on the Plaza Fashion Beats ," but also the looks.
"We will let their genre of music guide the way we present the fashions," said Nood Reynolds, style editor of Rochester Magazine , who is selecting the looks for the show being held Sept. 13 on the Peace Plaza downtown Rochester.
Two local bands, Pure Rock Studio and World Beats, also will perform fashionable and musical roles in the show, joined by DJ Jordan Van Hook.
While local music provides the show's inspiration, all of the the clothing, hair, makeup and accessories for men, women and children showcased come from downtown businesses.
"We have fabulous stores with a great variety of fashion here," Reynolds said.
