Separate billing drives up phone, tv costs (Miami Herald)

Q. In March, I combined my satellite TV and phone services with AT&T but, in May, I needed to dispute the bill. AT&T removed the incorrect charges but then it separated the two services so now I’m being billed separately for the TV service, which makes it a lot more expensive.
